My pregnancy journey started on 21st of September 2016, when I came to know that I was pregnant. my periods were late, I did not have any symptoms of pregnancy so wasn’t sure, I waited for a week then went to doctor, she gave a blood test when the report came it was positive.
I and my husband were happy with the news and so does your family. As days go by the first month was completed and one day in mid of my second month, I had my first spotting, immediately went to doctor I came to know that my baby is lay lowing (low placenta). My doctor advised me to rest as much as I can and no heavy lifting, I was in danger of miscarriage. Still, my spotting was not stopping so my doctor gave me series of injections which was injected after every fifteen days it was painful and for two or three days I could not walk easily.
My second trimester started still my condition was same, same medicines. In mid of my trimester I had bleeding, I rushed to hospital in an emergency was admitted, the doctor told us because of low placenta I had bleeding, after a day I got discharged. Now I was slipping into depression, there were days I was so afraid of losing my baby that I used to cry whole night in silent. As days went by little anxiety inside me started going, all the wrong thoughts came into my mind I tried my best to avoid them still they were days when I was depressed and lonely, no friends and family it was just me and my husband. To me it seems like I was living in some jail, only on weekends I used to go out but no walking just sitting in car, it was really hard for me to do baby shopping, mostly my husband did the shopping sometimes I used to go mall not more than an hour and bought only necessary things for the baby.
In my third trimester once again I got admitted in an emergency this time my cervix was opening and I had a chance of going into early labor and delivering the premature baby but my doctor gave me a number of injections to stop me from delivering early and I did not. After that, I was completely on bed rest until my delivery.
